Oops! At the end of the post last night, I meant to write that on Sunday we spoke to Dan's actual boss, who said to forget all about the idea of them moving us out of here. He said the other bloke has no idea what he's talking about, and he likes to cause a stir. He says we can safely put the idea out of our minds. Phew! What a relief!
So good to read your blog - makes me feel like I am there! What a rough week for you both but hopefully things will get much easier as you go along and your days are filled with more and more activities. I too was worried about you walking around the grounds and then going swimming and hoping that you would be able to be exposed to much more as I know how active and involved you love to be. Sounds like that is all changing and your weeks will soon be full. In a way I wish I wasn't going away next week - I would have loved to have been able to pop up there this week to spend some time with you _ but as you said, October will soon be here. Counting the days:) We had a lovely meal last night for Fathers Day, then took Hoffy off 10 Pin bowling - he had no idea where he was going. We had two games - Dan won - I came last:) Cos starts work at PHT today so will call in and see him later - Grum said he was excited. I am going to Pirie tomorrow to my cousin Gordon Chivell's funeral (was married to Teresita if you remember), we weren't close but I am going for Mum's sake more than anything. Will get the rest of your parcel ready today and try and couier it off as soon as you give me the address. We all miss you very much and send all of our love and best wishes to you all in your exciting new home. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
